SCHEDULE

We ship orders on Wednesdays and Fridays. Orders must be received by Kicksled Alaska before Noon Alaska time the day before shipping. Shipping times will vary depending on the method. We do not ship internationally.

SHIPPING OPTIONS

IN ALASKA

We ship orders across our home state. The most cost-effective shipping method is air freight. This requires the customer to pick up the order at the airport. Our e-commerce platform does not accommodate this shipping method, so we are happy to work with you to price the shipping. The price to ship can vary significantly between carriers and destinations. Oftentimes, the price to ship one sled or three sleds does not change dramatically. To reduce your shipping price, ship your order with friends!

NOT IN ALASKA

Not much different than shipping in Alaska, we frequently ship kicksleds to the Lower 48 using Alaska Air Cargo. They accept any size kicksled. Check here to see if Alaska Air Cargo serves your community. 

Orders shipped on Alaska Air Cargo MUST be picked up at the airport cargo office and ARE NOT delivered to home or business. Customers are responsible for arranging the pick up of their orders and knowing the hours of the local cargo office.

USPS

Several kicksleds can be shipped with the United States Postal Service. Due to kicksled dimensions, full-size kicksleds CANNOT be shipped with USPS because they exceed the allowable shipping dimensions.

Quality Control with USPS
At the time of delivery, if the original packaging of the kicksled is damaged, torn or open, you must check the condition of the items. If they have been damaged, you must refuse the package and note on the shipment package “refused” because it was opened or damaged. If the complaint is not made at the time of receipt, we unfortunately cannot accept any complaint. 

SHIPPING DAMAGES

In the event your order arrives damaged, please email us as soon as possible at hello@kicksledalaska.com with your order number and photos of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis and will try to resolve the issue satisfactorily.

DELIVERY

ANCHORAGE + MAT-SU VALLEY DELIVERY PRICING

We offer local delivery to Anchorage, Eagle River, Palmer and Wasilla. The cost is per address, not per sled. Delivery is made by Alaska Northern Courier.

ANCHORAGE DELIVERY SCHEDULE

Anchorage kicksled orders go out with a local courier on Wednesdays and Fridays. Orders must be received by Kicksled Alaska before Noon Alaska time, the day before delivery.

VALLEY DELIVERY SCHEDULE

Valley orders go out with a courier on Thursday mornings. Orders must be placed by Noon Alaska time on Wednesday in order to be included. If there is not enough room with the courier on Thursday, kicksleds will go out on Friday.

CURBSIDE PICK UP IN ANCHORAGE

When we receive an order for curbside pickup, we strive to reach out via email within one business day with a link of upcoming available times for you to schedule curbside pickup at our shop in Anchorage, Alaska. We are located at 502 W. 58th Ave, Unit J  and our curbside pickup is on the east side of the building, where we have windows -- just several doors away from the outdoor patio at Double Shovel Cider Co. Orders received on holidays or days we are closed may be delayed until staff are back in the shop.

TRAVEL WITH KICKSLEDS

Unassembled kicksleds and kicksparks can be checked as oversized baggage/sports equipment on Alaska Airlines. We can package the kicksleds for air travel - just let us know in advance.
