$100 OFF ORDERS OF 3 OR MORE SLEDS

Southcentral: Alaska Botanical Garden

The Alaska Botanical Garden is a fantastic spot for all ages to try kicksledding. Kicksled Alaska donated a fleet of kicksleds to the Alaska Botanical Garden and encourages everyone to visit and try it out.

The Alaska Botanical Garden trail is sloped, offering the opportunity to go both up and downhill. The property is also enclosed, meaning you will not run into any moose along the way.

The Garden posts kicksled days and hours to their Facebook page. Typically they offer kicksledding on Saturdays.

Winter admission is by donation and kicksled rental is a suggested donation of $5. They do not offer reservations and ask that you check in after each loop to see if anyone is waiting. They sanitize sleds between users, too.

If you already own kicksleds, you are welcome to bring your kicksleds during daytime hours and use them to tour the Garden.

If you do go and try it out, tag us in your photos!
